Patience is not about how long someone can wait... It's about how well they behave while they wait.

60's Band Reunion

Generations collided in Lewiston when a handful of local bands from the 60's got back together for a charity concert. Those "flower children" are busy texting before the music starts.

An added bonus for us was the fact a large portion of the people there were our relations, including the girls in the pic above. Family, fun and good music... what more could you ask for?

There were cousins and family that David had not seen in, "I don't know how long...".

Stephanie and David grew up together "on the road" with the band... It was awesome to see them reconnect.

I wasn't the only one taking pictures...

So many cousins, so little time. Even though many of them had just met, games and fun came easily to the kids.

Of course my favorite part was getting to hear the Van Gs again! All of the bands who were able, tried to get their original members to perform. I think Dick had a great time being on stage again. That's their cousin, Fred, on the drums.

Thanks for a great show guys!

Hay

I took these pics on the way to work last week. This is what the farmers are busy doing in the heat.

I never knew you could grow giant marshmallows.

The World According to Ben

~While sorting through clothing trying to pack for the upcoming trip to Lewiston, Vegas and ultimately (for Ben) Disney Land.

Me: "Is this shirt too small for you?"

Ben: "No, it just hurts when I stick my head into it."

Me: "So... is it too small then?"

Ben: "No it fits, my head is just too big."

Me: "..."

Our Boy

I just cut Ben's hair, and he was all freshly washed, so of course I wanted some pics.

19 years

I seriously can not believe we have been married that long. It feels like maybe.... oh I don't know.... five or so. How we have a 7 and a 13 year old, I can't explain. This whole time passing thing is complicated and makes my head hurt.

Time warps aside. 19 years ago my best friend became my husband. He has kept me smiling, laughing and filled my life with happiness and love ever since.

Happy Anniversary, David. You are my best friend, the love of my life and my soul mate. I love you with all that I am.
