Out in the yard we planted a Northern Red Oak.
Closer to the house is a Bartlett Pear.
Off of the kitchen and deck is a Red Maple.
Out in the field are also a Sycamore and a Weeping Willow. They are even harder to see in the pics though, and how many pictures of squinting kids do you need anyway?

Those trees will look great in a few years. The Red Maple by the kitchen will be wonderful in the fall. Squinting kids are nice too.
dad
hope the trees make it. how cool will that be when the kids are all grown up and tell everyone they planted them when they were little:)
Haha squinting kids! Tree selection sound great I bet they will look great!
LOL, I was thinking about my "who needs sunglasses" comment...then you added yours! The trees should be dormant and survive with winter on the slow way out the backdoor. Nice work!
