So on the way home from work yesterday I got a bit too close to the edge of the road and slid off into a ditch. I gave it a good try to get out on my own, but was very relieved when two kind gentlemen stopped with a tow strap. They got the truck out on the second try!
David was worried enough that he actually got up at 4:30am this morning to drive me to work. The roads were much better today and I am sure that I will be back to driving myself again on Monday. lol
Patience is not about how long someone can wait... It's about how well they behave while they wait.

I have been worried about you and the roads. Been seeing lots of bad slid-offs up there:( Be careful. love you lots!!
So glad you are okay! How scary!!
So glad to hear that you are okay!
That happened to me once too, during a snow storm. I couldn't see where the edge of the road was and it was one of those "black top is higher than the road" things. I ended up flying across ocoming traffic and into a ditch. But luckily someone saw it and he had a strap and got me right out.
ack, Shiloh! I'm glad I didn't have to deal with any oncoming traffic. So glad you had a good outcome!
WOW, that must have been scary, so glad that you are all right.
