Patience is not about how long someone can wait... It's about how well they behave while they wait.

Track Meet

Yesterday was Randa's first track meet.  It was at a school about an hour and a half south of us.  We got there just in time for her hurdle race, in the cold wind and rain.  We were well bundled up and were FREEZING... I know she must have been frozen solid.  That's her, third from the left with the white short sleeves under her blue uniform.

She got all embarrassment and worry out of the way when she tripped after the first hurdle.  The rest of the meet went better for her.  Along with the hurdle race, she competed in the high jump, long jump and javelin.  Unfortunately we don't have any pics of those as we actually had to move to the truck before we all died of exposure.

Overall, her experience was a good one.  On the trip home she was talking about how fun it was, except for the weather.  (Her fall was forgotten).  Her next meet is on Thursday and we are hoping it will be sunny!

Tell her she did a lot better than her aunt em on the hurdles. I remember tripping all over them. Long distance was the best, loved that! Congrats and can't wait to hear about the next meet.
